Let’s Rock  Back to 1964!!

It’s here — the big double 5s.  On Saturday, September 14, 2019, we’ll gather together again to celebrate this year’s reunion #55.  Are we ready to ROCK? Here’s what’s happening:

Friday evening, the 13th, we’ll gather together for a casual, come as you are, event at the Oak and Ember Tavern, 7774 Darrow Road, Hudson, OH.  The beginning is at 5:00 PM and last until who knows when.  Each one of us is on our own.  No rsvp on this one. Hope to see many of us.

Saturday, the 14th, it’s our Reunion #55 in full force.  Remember we attended Maple in the ’60s and that’s its theme.  Feel free to wear era clothes; other than that, it’s business casual (men without jackets).  We’ll mingle, feel free to look around at the decorations/posters and memorial tree. Then we’ll assemble for a short program and a buffet dinner.  A cash bar will be available from the beginning to whenever the facility says it’s closed.  Enjoy the camaraderie of current and past friends.  Rekindle old friendships.  Music will be led by our classmate and DJ Phil Lamirand.  During that time there will be “competitions”, activating our memories.  Be ready.  Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy all the way until midnight.

But what we need from each. By August 15, the form (click here to download), completed in full by you, whether able to attend or not. (For the latter to make sure our Class Directory is up to date.)  BTW:  A directory will be available if you want — especially electronic.

We would also like you to send (please email to mm@immages.com) either or both of the following: Your favorite memory from high school and/or something no one knows about you. Please limit to 200 words or less.

More fun things! Melanie asks that you send to her 4-5 photos showing aspects of your life that you wish to share. We ask everyone to send in 4-5 photos of these special highlights of your life. We will create a slide show from those photos that will be shown on large monitors during the reunion. Please email your images by August 20 to mm@immages.com , or text them to 330.351.0659.  Photos can be scanned inexpensively at places such as Staples, and can be emailed to Melanie directly from there.

Also, on the night of the reunion, we ask that you use your smartphone to upload photos from the reunion to Instagram #mhhsclassof64reunion.  We will use those photos along with video clips that a videographer will shoot at the reunion to produce a video for us that will be available to you a few weeks after the reunion.
